BETTER DEAL PROMOTION - Terms & Conditions

Tafelberg Furniture Stores (Pty) Ltd. (Reg.no. 1987/001012/07) is running a Better Deal Promotional competition from 8 April - 3 May 2026. 

This competition is not open to the employees, directors, members, partners, agents, or consultants of Tafelberg Furnishers or any supplier of goods or services in connection with the competition, or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by Tafelberg Furnishers, including the participating products, their respective advertising, and promotional agencies, media and PR agencies, as well as the spouse, life partner, family members (including natural or adopted parents, children or siblings), consultants, directors, business partners and associates of such organizations and persons. 

The promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding results.

Purchase any product to the value of R1 000 or more, between 8 April and 3 May 2026, and you will automatically be entered into the lucky draw. The prizes that could be won are as follows:

  • Defy 9kg front load washing machine (DAW399) – Valued at R5 999
  • Restonic Sleep Serenity queen bed set – Valued at R4 999
  • La-Z-Boy Astra Incliner, fabric, grounded Brown – Valued at R7 499
  • TCL  50” FHD QLED Google Smart TV (50SSK) – Valued at R4 999
  • Bosch ProAnimal bagless vacuum cleaner (BGS41ZOORU) - Valued at R3 999
  • Hisense 45L black microwave oven (H45MOBS5XV) – Valued atR2 499

The prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash, or any other form of credit.

The winners will be selected from a random draw for each of the six prizes.

The winners need to collect their prizes from their nearest branch. The winners will be required to sign a winner's declaration form and other documentation as required by law. The winner may not receive the prize if it is against the law for the winner to receive the prize.
Tafelberg Furnishers will not be liable for any costs or expenses incurred by the winning participants when participating in this promotion.

Tafelberg Furnishers reserves the right to withhold any prize until it is entirely satisfied that the claimant of the Prize is the bona fide winner and reserves the right to call for such proof as it may deem necessary.

Tafelberg Furnishers will make reasonable attempts to contact the winners telephonically, but if any winner cannot be contacted within 3 days or does not respond to our attempt to make contact from the date of the respective draws, then Tafelberg Furnishers reserves the right to draw a new winner or award the prize to a backup winner. Prizes not claimed within 14 days shall be subject to a new draw and may be dealt with by Tafelberg Furnishers in any manner it deems fit. This process will continue until all final winners are selected and verified.

In the event that Tafelberg Furnishers conducts any marketing activity relating to the competition, winners have the right to decline to participate in such marketing activity.

·        The winners of this competition will be required to have a photo taken of themselves during the prize hand-over, but the winners may object to this request in writing. The photo will be posted on our social media pages.

Tafelberg Furnishers may cancel or suspend the competition, or it may amend the terms and conditions or correct obvious errors. Should this happen for any reason, you will not have any rights to the competition of prize and will have no recourse against Tafelberg Furnishers or any party working in conjunction with it on the competition. The right of admission into the competition rests solely with Tafelberg Furnishers. You hereby indemnify and hold harmless Tafelberg Furnishers (including its directors, employees, members, independent contractors, agents, consultants, sub-contractors, and other representatives) from any and all direct, indirect, or consequential loss or damages suffered as a result of any action or omission relating to this competition and/or the award of any prize.

·        If any tax is payable on the prize, the winner will be responsible for the tax payment.

·        Any violation or attempt to violate any of the terms and conditions of the competition will result in the immediate disqualification of the transgressor.
