Ons het die week met een van jul verkoopspersone gewerk (is besig om huis oor te doen) en wou net laat weet dat sy diens uitstekend was. Dit was Deon Nell. Hy het selfs gister op ‘n af dag ingegaan om vir ons die faktuur reg te kry en aan te stuur!
Ons was vir die afgelope week in gesprek met hom aangaande ons aankope en hy was elke keer baie vriendelik en behulpsaam.
Na ‘n frustrerende paar uur by Binnelandse Sake gisteroggend was dit omtrent lekker om sulke goeie diens van Deon by Tafelberg Meubels te kry.
Ek hoop jy sal die boodskap so kan oordra.
Mooi bly en lekker naweek.

A few weeks ago I returned home on late Sunday morning, having completed my weekly grocery shop only to discover that my old fridge had finally given up the ghost and that I was now laden with perishables that were likely to go vrot.
In a panic I rushed down to Tafelberg Diep River and explained to your fridge sales person, I believe it’s Hylton Henning, that I desperately needed to buy a new fridge and still have it delivered before you closed shop.
He calmly suggested that I check out fridges whilst he organised a delivery person. I overheard him on the phone, diligently phoning about 10 people before he found someone to do the delivery.
He then helped me in a very knowledgeable and friendly way to choose the right fridge and process payment and about 30 minutes after I arrived back at home the delivery arrived.
Having spent many years in the service industry I am very conscious of good and bad service and am astounded at the poor general levels of service that seems prevalent in SA. And so it was an absolutely joy for me to experience such professional, caring and helpful service and I thought it prudent to both thank and acknowledge Hylton and recognise him to yourselves, the management.
Hylton, the excellent service you rendered means that Tafelberg Diep River will certainly be my first port of call for any household goods and I will recommend both the store and yourself to all my friends.

This is just to inform you (the public) that we have had only the best assistance, guidance and friendliness from Tafelberg Furnishers Somerset West (near Builders Warehouse). We hardly ever leave that area without popping in to see what they have on offer and seldom leave without purchasing something. Once we returned travelling bags that we bought before we left for Sweden and could only returned it (as it was still brand new but faulty zips)r when we arrived back in S A after a month. There were no problems they were friendly as ever and all was done and dusted within 10 min.
Such pleasantness and a willing to be of assistance even if you are just looking around the shop is seldom experienced.

Your sales person in the beds department, Thelma, was equally on hand to explain in detail the differences in the beds and provided in depth knowledge of her products.
Monelito from your AV department successfully and with immense knowledge educated me on the fantastic Samsung 48inch Samart TV. Which I duly bought.
To top it all off your star sales person, Gina was tasked with collating all the model numbers and prices of all the items and in no time sent me the relevant quotations which I happily accepted. She was handled the whole sale with the utmost care, knowledge and unmatched customer service excellence.
Lidya from your finance department was superb and kept me personally informed of all procedures with phone calls and emails. Fantastic job on her part with friendliness and patience.
Steven from your warehouse was incredible. After a minor hiccup he got into his personal car and delivered an item which was mistakenly forgotten.
Gerhard from Northgate is another superstar who dealt with an exchange in the most professional and excellent manner.
Marius from the warehouse is the other hero in my book, who went out of his way to make sure the bed exchange was handled with care and personal concern after it could not get into the house.
Mr van Zyl, these stars that make up your company were all pulling together as ONE DYNAMIC TEAM for a mere single customer. I believe that this is a true reflection of your impeccable leadership as it is often said that people will emulate their leaders and that it shows in how the team act and perform. I am indeed very impressed and thankful for having received this VIP treatment which I am sure ALL your customers get. I have no hesitation in directing business your way and have already sung your praises to whoever crosses my path. I’m glad to inform you that based on this, that I have already sent two customers to one of your branches for purchases. I have no intention of slowing this down and will continue to send this on. When my friend made the payment for the Pro-Forma invoice at about 08:30 & followed it up with Eric, Eric ensured that the delivery was booked for the same day. The dispatch department also phoned to confirm the delivery. Delivery also happened within the time bracket promised.

I would like to bring to your attention the excellent customer service received from Mabel at the Bellville branch and also Ryan at the Tokai branch as well as the friendly helpful delivery team. My washing machine stopped working on Friday morning and I was put in contact with Mabel who has professionally and promptly resolved my wash day problem. After visiting the Tokai showroom this morning, with Ryan patiently answering all my questions a replacement machine was selected. The new machine was installed by this afternoon by the knowledgeable delivery team and has already completed the first wash. I must particularly commend Mabel, she really does understand the meaning of customer service, she is an asset to your company and hope she is rewarded for her excellent work.
I am hugely impressed and will definitely recommend Tafelberg, your after sales service is top notch!

N Mens kry gewoonlik briefies of oproepe vanaf kliente wat wil kla. Wees gerus, hierdie e-pos is allermins nie dit nie, maar eerder die teenoorgestelde van kla – AANPRYSING! Ek het vroeg oggend n navraag vir kwotasie per epos gerig na Stefan Heil, dit was soos blits en die antwoord het gekom via epos, volledig met alles wat ek wou weet. Hy het my ook geskakel om te hoor of ek tevrede was en of daar nog iets is waarmee hy kon help. En weet u wat, ons woon nie eers meer in die Kaap nie, maar wel in Port Elizabeth! Ai, hoe mis ons nie hier die goeie Tafelberg Meubels nie! Behalwe die verskeidenheid van goed kan jy nie eers van die ongelooflike reaksietyd op navrae en professionele diens hier in die Oos-Kaap praat nie.
Die tweede persoon wat my na aan die hart le wanneer ek iets koop is Sylvia (glo my ek ken nie eers haar van nie!), maar ons het al heelwat goed daar gekoop, want ons seun is n student by Tygerberg en ja, dit begin by yskas, mikrogolf? en so gaan dit aan. Wel, Sylvia was elke keer die redder! Niks is vir haar moeite nie en as sy se dat sy gaan terugbel, dan is dit so! Ek sal baie graag dat hierdie twee persone by uitstek n spesiale woord van dank en waardering ontvang op welke gepaste wyse julle ook gebruik binne Tafelberg Meubileerders. Verkieslik ook so dat al julle ander personeel ook sien dat kliente tog ook wel dank en waardeering aan die personeel van tafelberg Meubileerders oordra. Ek wens ek kon vir hulle n spesiale bonus versoek, dit sou goed van pas wees, so hou dit maar in gedagte wanneer julle moontlik n performance appraisal/meriete-beoordeling doen. Haal maar dan gerus die epos aan. Ons mis julle hier in die Oos-Kaap! Ons het juis nou nuwe huis gekoop en ek benodig weer wasmasjien, tuimeldroer, skottelgoedmasjien, ens!Nogmaals dankie vir julle professionele en flinke diens.

I wanted to express my sincere appreciation for the high standard of service I received from Priscilla over the past 2 days. Great customer service in your industry is not the norm. After speaking to one of Priscilla’s colleagues about a fault with my TV, I was directed to Tafelberg Diep River. I received no response to 4 calls placed to the Service department at the Diep River branch and the call failed twice.
I finally was put through to Priscilla when calling Tafelberg Belville. She dealt with my query quickly, and after 2 subsequent telephone calls from her, she has arranged a TV swop out for the following day. She was efficient and polite and has left me with a sense that i’ll only shop at Tafelberg Belville in future because I know if anything goes wrong with my products, that I can call her for assistance. I employ 120 people and value customer service very highly. You have a great customer service representative on your team!

Ek wil net graag die uitstekende diens wat Eleanor aan ons gelewer het met die aankoop van nuwe meubels onder jou aandag bring. Vandat ons die meubels en materiaal gekies het op 24 April 13, het sy ons voortdurend op hoogte gehou, sonder om verwagtinge te skep. Ten spyte van die feit dat sy die laaste week of twee in Somerset Wes se tak werk het sy nog steeds al die relings vir ons getref vir die afhandeling van die betaling en die aflewering. Vir my, wat absoluut passievol is oor goeie diens, veral in die tye waarin ons lewe, het sy vir my uitgestaan.

We are all very quick to complain when we receive poor service, but not many people take the time to give praise when it is due. I find it my duty to direct this email to you to inform you of the excellent service which I have received from Christene. We had endless problems with the Samsung TV which we purchased at your branch and would it not have been for Christene the matter would still be unsolved and possible legal actions against Samsung would have been unpreventable. Ek wil graag ‘n plumpie uitdeel aan Susan van Heerden by jul Cape Gate Tak vir haar uitstekende klientediens. Ons was verlede Saterdag by jul winkel in Cape Gate opsoek na ‘n nuwe bed. Susan was die verkoopskonsultant wat ons gehelp het. Susan was baie entoesiaties oor haar produkte en het al ons vrae geduldig beantwoord. Sy het ook additionele inligting oor die produk met ons gedeel wat ons in staat gestel het om die regte besluit vir ons spesifieke behoeftes te neem.
Ek het Susan vandag geskakel en meegedeel dat ons die produk by Tafelberg gaan koop en graag aflewering eerskomende Vrydag wil he. Sy het al die nodige besonderhede wat ek nodig gehad het vir betaling en ook bevestiging van voorraad binne minute na ons telefoongesprek ge-epos en ook met ‘n telefoonoproep bevestig dat sy die inligting deurgestuur het. Toe ek die bewys van betaling deurgestuur is het sy weereens geskakel om my mee te deel dat sy dit ontvang het en dat al die nodige relings getref is. Susan het ons voorwaar soos die belangrikste klient in jul winkel laat voel en haar volle aandag ons gegee sonder om enige produk aan ons af te dwing. Sy is voorwaar ‘n aanwins vir julle maatskappy en span en ons sal beslis weer aankope by Tafelberg Meubels, Cape Gate doen.

Ek wil graag my waardering uitspreek vir die manier waarop u my versoek en bestelling hanteer het. Die ongelooflike goeie diens, besorgdheid en vriendelikheid van uself en Grant Charles ontvang het was glad nie ter wagte nie en word hoog op prys gestel. Die moeiete wat u geneem het word baie waardeer. Ek sal dit waardeer as u ons dank aan Grant sal oordra. Ons het onlangs Struisbaai toe getrek van Pretoria af en het terloops, op die internet, op Tafelberg afgekom. Ek kon gister vining deur die winkel kyk en kan julle verseker dat, op grond van die goeie diens alleen, ons definitief julle ons nr 1 stop gaan maak vir toekomstige benodighede.Weereens baie dankie.

We are very pleased with the fact that we were able to find a suitable replacement and take ownership of a very nice Grafton Everest 3-piece Suite (on special!) yesterday afternoon. The deal was done very quickly and efficiently and we were told that they would have the requested scotchguard done this morning and will be delivering the new suite to us free of charge this afternoon, just in time for the long weekend! I am very impressed with the outstanding service we have received and my faith in Tafelberg Furnishers as a company providing excellent quality service, products and customer service has been fully restored. I will most certainly do business with Tafelberg Furnishers again in the future.

Ek wil u hiermee net in kennis stel van die uiters goeie diens wat ek van Tafelberg Meubels, Cape Gate gekry het. Die persoon wat ek in die besonder wil bedank is me Mabel Syster. Weet u hoeveel moeite sy vir my gedoen het nadat my Elektrolux vrieskas na 5 maande nie meer wou werk nie. Die mense van Electrolux het kom kyk en my net meegedeel dat die part wat bestel moet word van oorsee af bestel moet word.
Intussen het me Syster onmiddellik vir ‘n leen vrieskas gesorg, my elke dag op hoogte gehou van die vordering in verband met my vrieskas en uiteindelik gereel dat ek nou ‘n nuwe vrieskas naamlik ‘n Bosch moes koop. Me Syster was elke keer baie beleefd, en haar flinke optrede is prysenswaardig. Ek koop al jare by Tafelberg Meubels en het nog net altyd goeie diens gekry maar regtig ek was baie beindruk met Me Syster, ek kan haar nie genoeg bedank vir haar diens nie.

Graag wil ek Julia bedank vir die diens wat sy aan my verleen het ten opsigte van n gebreekte stoel. As jy vandag van diens praat , praat almal dat dit iets is wat nie meer bestaan nie! Julia het die teendeel bewys. Well done!!!!! Ek het navrae gedoen. Sy het my op n baie vriendelike manier gehelp. Toe ek haar vra of sy my in Afrikaans kan help het sy onmiddellik oorgeslaan. Die volgende dag het sy sowaar teruggeskakel net om te verneem of ek reggekom het. Dis mos die rede waarom ek by Tafelberg sal bly koop vir sy absolute diens.

I would like to take this opportunity to commend Priscilla at Customer Services. My wife and I had bought a Panasonic TV from Tafelberg, and after enduring many months of malfunctioning, we approached Priscilla who organised a repair and another TV to tide us over. On subsequently collecting our TV we found that it still malfunctioned. Priscilla has been most diligent in following up with Panasonic (almost like a dog with a bone!) and the TV has been collected for repair again as a result of her perseverance. In this age of shoddy after-sales service we find Priscilla’s professionalism refreshing and most welcome.

I would like to take this opportunity to let you know of the awesome service I received from Tafelberg staff members during December 2012. To this end I have gone to great lengths to obtain management contact details, as I believe great service deserves acknowledgement.
1. Firstly I would really want to thank the service manager, Corne Heil, for the awesome service received in arranging repairs to my Whirlpool Gas hob which I bought @ Tafelberg during December 2010. The hob became faulty just before the festive season and we could not use it to cook. Within a day of contacting the service office and personally speaking to her, it was repaired. I am much impressed. Corne truly displayed understanding for a customer’s dilemma of sitting without a stove during this period and made sure it is fixed in record time.
2. Secondly, I would also want to give a special word of thanks to the sales assistant, Eleanor Loubscher who assisted me on the 21st of December during the purchase of a new dishwasher and microwave oven. Despite it being such a busy season in general and a very busy day in particular, Eleanor gave me her undivided attention in assisting me with the selection of the appliances as well as helping me with the internet EFT transfer in-store to complete the purchase. Her knowledge of the various products is quite impressive. What warms any customer’s heart is also the speedy delivery the next day. She has given me consistent great service. (Earlier, during July 2012, I have also acquired a washing machine and tumble dryer, assisted by Eleanor). Now THAT is Awesome Customer Service!
I would like to commend Corne and Eleanor for taking Customer Service to the level where it should be. I have experienced such great After-Sales service (which is sometimes important than the actual sale itself?). Their actions (during the past 2 years I have been shopping at Tafelberg), surely made me a loyal Tafelberg Customer! Wishing you and your family well during the New Year.
