The AMT 28cm Wok is a high-quality, heavy-duty hand-cast aluminium pan made with the best materials to give you the user a superior cooking experience. With a non-stick coating layer made with AMT's self-developed Lotan® coating that has antibacterial properties and makes cleaning of cookware easier. In addition, the coating is 100% PFOA free.
The AMT wok has a removable long handle which comes in handy when your wok needs to be stored after use but also adds to your safer cooking experience. The wok is heat resistant up to 240 °C, the removable handle is heat-resistant up to 150 °C.
For longer use and to maintain the non-stick surface of the wok use non-scratch utensils only. Additionally, before using the wok clean the wok with warm water and a mild detergent. When you are done cooking and cleaning the wok, dry the wok thoroughly wipe the interior lightly with sunflower oil, and remove any excess oil with a dry paper towel before storing the wok.
This AMT 28cm Wok is dishwasher safe, however, please note that the bottom will turn black in the dishwasher as it is aluminium. This, however, has no influence on the cooking results but please use kitchen paper towels (not cloth) to dry the base as it will leave a black stain on the cloth.
