The AMT 28cm Braising pan is one of the most practical and versatile pans in your cookware arsenal as it can be used to cook soups, pasta and sauces. Other uses include frying doughnuts, fried chicken, fish fillets and fries and many other dishes. The AMT 28cm Braising pan is made of a heavy-duty hand-cast aluminium pan and has a non-stick coating that is heat resistant up to 240 °C. The handles are heat resistant up to 150 °C. For the best cooking experience and even heat distribution, the non-stick coating is PFOA free. In addition, the pan has a special thermal base that aids in distributing heat both on the bottom and walls of the pan, in other words, your meals will cook quicker and evenly.
All AMT pots and pans are layered with Lotan® coating which makes the pots and pans more hygienic and easier to clean due to their antibacterial properties.
For longer use and to maintain the non-stick surface of the pan use non-scratch utensils only. Additionally, before using the pan clean the pan with warm water and a mild detergent. When you are done cooking and cleaning the pan, dry the pan thoroughly wipe the interior lightly with sunflower oil, and remove any excess oil with a dry paper towel before storing the pan.
This AMT 28cm Braising Pan is dishwasher safe, however, please note that the bottom will turn black in the dishwasher as it is aluminium. This, however, has no influence on the cooking results but please use kitchen paper towels (not cloth) to dry the base as it will leave a black stain on the cloth.
