It's 2024, many people would prefer to shop online for many reasons. Whether you prefer to save time and energy, browse effortlessly through a catalogue, or you prefer looking for an item at your own pace, we've got you covered.
We stock a wide range of major appliances, small appliances, homeware, furniture, bedding, audio-visual and outdoor products from well-known brands.
If this is your first time shopping online, or with us, we have created a guide to assist you with completing your purchase on our website.
Select a region
The first thing that you need to do is click on the "Select a region" button. This will help to streamline the checkout process, especially if you would prefer to collect your order from one of our branches. (If your region does not appear on the dropdown list, then you are welcome to select your nearest region)

Once you have selected your nearest region, you are welcome to browse through our various departments.
Create an account
Before placing your order, you will need to ensure that you have created an online account. By doing so, you will be able to track your order, view your previous purchase, edit or add your address and you can create your own wishlist.

You can simply create an account in four steps:

1) Enter a valid email address
2) Fill in your first and last name, so that we can personalise our communication when we receive your order
3) Create a password that contains at least 6 characters consisting of uppercase and lowercase letters, a number, and a special character. In addition, you will need to confirm your password (just as an extra security step)
4) Once you have entered all the necessary information, you can select the "create my account" icon.
To change any personal information on your profile, you are welcome to contact our online department via online1@tafelberg.co.za
Once you have created an account, you will receive an email from us, just to extend a warm welcome to you and to thank you for registering your account.
If you did not receive an email from us, there is a chance that you may have accidentally entered the wrong email address, or our email may have ended up in your spam folder, due to your email restrictions.

Once you have signed in to your profile, and added your product/s to your cart, you can proceed to checkout by selecting the trolley icon, at the top right corner and you can select the "view cart" button.
You will be taken to a page to view the items that are in your cart. On this page you will be able to increase or decrease the quantity or a specific item, and you will be able to remove an item from your cart as well.
Below the summary and total of your order, you will see there is a "checkout now" button. You can select the button to proceed to checkout.
Invoice details
If the order is for a company, and you would like your VAT number to be added to the invoice, you can select the "change" icon, and fill in the necessary details, such as the company name, contact number and VAT number.

Collect your order

You can choose whether you would like to collect your order, or whether you would like your order to be delivered.
Please note: If the item that you'd like to collect is not available in your region, then you will not be able to select the collection option.

If you'd like to collect your order at one of our branches, then you are welcome to choose the "collect my order" icon.
By doing so, you are required to fill in a contact number, so that we can contact you when your order is ready for collection, and if you would like to add any additional notes regarding collection, then you are welcome to add it under "collection notes"
Please note: If you are collecting your order, we ask that you wait for confirmation from a sales consultant before you collect your order, as we need to ensure that the paperwork and stock is ready for collection at the branch you'd like to collect from.
Thereafter, you will be able to select the branch that you'd like to collect your order from. Once you've selected a branch, you will be able to view the contact details, address, operating hours and the GPS location of the branch.
Note: If a specific branch does not have stock, then it will not be displayed on the drop-down list.
Deliver your order
If you'd like your order to be delivered, then you can select the "deliver my order" icon. There is a section included, where you will be able to add delivery notes.
Below " delivery notes" you will be required to select your address, which should be on your profile, or you can create a new address.

To create a new address, you will need to ensure that ALL of the fields are filled in, before you click on "create" button.
Once you have selected your delivery address, you will see an option of how you'd like to ship the order, with a delivery fee.
If you do see a message about your order being unable to ship, you are welcome to speak to a sales consultant via our live chat, or you can send an email to online1@tafelberg.co.za
Payment methods
Once you selected a collection point, or you've selected the shipping method, you will be given three options to pay for your order.
Manual EFT - to deposit the money via EFT into one of our bank accounts
PayJustNow - is a 3rd party payment provide, that will provide you with the option to pay off an order in three installments with no interest
PayFast - allows you to pay for your order using your credit or debit card, or Mobicred or RCS etc.

Once you have selected the payment method, it is advised that you read our T’s and C’s before proceeding to make payment.
