New washing machine has water in the drum
If you find water in your brand new washing machine is not a bad sign at all. In fact, it’s an excellent sign. Before a washing machine leaves the supplier’s warehouse, it is subjected to functional testing during the final inspection. This may be the reason why there is water or moisture in a brand new washing machine.
Washing machine is bouncing or moving around more than usual
It is not unusual for a washing machine to move or vibrate during a wash cycle, however if it is bouncing around loudly, there could be another issue. The first thing to check would be the transport bolts at the back of the machine and if they have been removed. They are used to keep the drum in place during transportation but they need to be removed before using the machine. Where necessary, it is advised that you confirm whether the feet of the washing machine are level on the ground and adjust if necessary.

Try readjusting your load and resume the cycle. If the issue persists, you may have a blocked drain pump. This can happen when something gets stuck in the outlet pipe, which stops the flow of water in and out of the machine.
Washing machine won’t fill with water
The first thing you should check is the hose for water. There could be a blockage that will need to be removed or a kink in the pipes that could be stopping the flow of water. In the event that you are getting a flow of water through the hose but your washer is still not filling with water, then there may be a problem with your water valve. It may just be a matter of cleaning the filter, alternatively, the issue could be due to the valve's connectivity.
Washing machine is giving an error code
All modern-day appliances come with a manual that can be referred to when issues arise. If there is an error code that appears on your machine, refer to your supplier manual which should have solutions to resolve the specific problem.
Machine is leaking
Water leaking out of your machine could be due to a variety of causes. The simplest fix would be a loose water hose connection between the machine and the taps. The hose can loosen over time due to vibrations from the cycles.
If that is not the case, the washers or seals may also be worn out which could need replacing. The last resort could be a deteriorated drain hose. Cracking, abrasions, and other damage happen to hoses over time which also results in them being replaced.
Drain of washing machine is clogged
If your machine is not draining properly, you may have a blockage in the draining system. A blockage could be due to a build-up of soap residue, leftover lint, or miscellaneous items from pockets (such as tissues or coins) or various residues and other materials on clothing.
You can check the filter for debris as well as all hoses that are connected to the washing machine. Be sure to first turn off all of the taps and manually drain the pipes to prevent any water spillage or damage. Once all is cleared, set your machine on a short wash/rinse cycle.
